Suguna signs JV with Shatal

Suguna Group, a pumps and motors major, has tied up with Israel-based Shatal Engineering for manufacturing light construction equipment. The equal joint venture (JV) has invested $1.5 million in a facility in Coimbatore and plans to invest another $1 million for expansion. The company officials said that the JV Suguna Shatal would manufacture light machinery like tiles cutting and levelling machines.
